Love Without Limits, eternal song

"This is my commandment: love one another as I love you." - John 15:12

Romans 8:38–39; Nothing Can Sever This Love
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” St. Paul exhausts the categories of creation to make one point: there is no force in existence; visible or invisible; that can cut a soul off from God’s love. The love of God in Christ is simply beyond containment.

Ephesians 3:17–19; Love That Surpasses all knowledge and limits
“...that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

John 3:16–17; Love That Gives Everything
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.” This is the heartbeat of the Gospel. God’s love is not passive; it is sacrificial, total, and ordered entirely toward our salvation. A self-giving love that wills the absolute good of the beloved. The Cross is not the proof of a loving God in spite of suffering; it is the definition of love itself (cf. CCC 604, 458). Every sacrament, every absolution in Confession, every reception of the Eucharist, is God saying again: “I love you; without limit.”

Though we are commanded to repent of sin and strive toward righteousness, God never stops loving us in that journey. Scripture shows us again and again that His love never fails.
